The BreatHE IN (Building Healthier Environments Indoors) Network is hosting its first roundtable webinar on Thursday 30 January 2026, 11:00–12:00 GMT. This EPSRC-funded network, led by the University of Birmingham, promotes healthier indoor environments through holistic, built-environment solutions and supports early-career researchers with bursaries and mentorship.

The webinar, “Lime4Health: Indoor Air Quality at Primary Schools in Madrid (Spain)”, will be presented by María del Mar Barbero Barrera, PhD architect and Associate Professor at the School of Architecture, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). Her research examines sustainable construction, building materials, and the effects of indoor and outdoor pollutants on children’s health, including the impact of paints and user habits. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
