5–6 November 2025 | University of York

This two-day workshop will bring together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to examine the latest evidence on indoor air quality and its implications for policy in the UK.

Day 1 – Research insights
Findings from the UKRI Clean Air Programme and new projects will be shared, highlighting lessons learned and opportunities for collaboration.

Day 2 – Policy challenges
Sessions will focus on retrofitting homes, addressing mould, and balancing net zero ambitions with healthy indoor environments. The programme will also highlight how UK research facilities can provide the evidence needed to inform effective policy.

By linking science and decision-making, the workshop aims to shape the next phase of indoor air research and action.
