Innovate UK has launched a new Contracts for Innovation competition to support the development of clean air technologies. A total of £800,000 (incl. VAT) is available to fund projects focused on monitoring, mitigating, or removing air pollution to protect human health.

This Phase 3 competition funds extended field trials to demonstrate and validate pre-commercial innovations—supporting technologies that are closer to market readiness. It does not fund early-stage ideas or low-TRL prototypes.

Successful applicants will test their solutions in real-world settings with end users and potential customers. Note: Adoption of solutions is not guaranteed and would be subject to a separate procurement process.
