The UK’s indoor air research community and stakeholders came together on 5th and 6th of November in York, with a two day conference on indoor air pollution. This was the first of six conferences being organised by the Clean Air Programme.
The conference sought to showcase the findings, common themes and conclusions from our WellHome, INGENIOUS and IAQ-EMS projects. The conference also placed these project findings in the context of future new projects including those funded by NHIR, MRC and EPSRC and the facilities that are available in the UK to address future research questions including the new INTERIORS homes at the University of York.
Social science and practitioner perspectives were at the fore as the conference also looked at the interdisciplinary approaches and practical barriers to retrofitting UK homes, with a focus on programmes homes in and around York.
Presentations
Many of our speakers gave presentations featuring hitherto unpublished work, so unfortunately we are unable to share them all.
