HS2 is trialing the Clean Air Gas Engine to replace diesel power on construction sites. The ultra low emission technology is an industry first solution set to dramatically cut carbon and improve air quality. The Clean Air Gas Engine (CAGE) project is developed by Lancashire based SME OakTec Power and is funded by Innovate UK, as part of the Strategic Priorities Fund Clean Air Programme.
